03 May 2008 Glasgow's Busby Hotel will host a meeting this coming Wednesday, May 7, for athletes on the topic of "what people need to be the best?".
Christians in Sport is sponsoring this multimedia event, "
The Greatest Need", providing a large screen multimedia presentation, food and a network environment for athletes to pursue the life purpose answer found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the ultimate reality.
09 Mar 2008 Edinburgh's West Princes Street Gardens will be the scene on Saturday March 22, 2008 of the fourth annual
Easter Play. This play portrays the significant events surrounding the arrest, crucifixion and ressurrection of Jesus Christ and is in the tradition of mystery plays, with its open air promenade performance allowing the audience to move with the actors to each scene. The play starts at 2.30pm and will last 2.5 hours allowing time for audience movement between scenes.

Highland Food Bank reports aid to more than 1700 in 2007 a 70% increase over the prior year! The food bank is operated and staffed by Blythswood Care and provides temporary aid with food assistance to those in need, living in the Inverness, Easter Ross, Nairn and Badenoch and Strathspey areas.
